Facilitated by one or more of our licensed clinicians, this form of psychotherapy allows a group of clients to meet, explore and work together towards a desired area of change.

BECOMING CONTENT WITH WHAT IS
Facilitated by Phylicia Bridgers, LCMHC
This virtual therapy group is a safe space intended to support black women who are navigating conflicting thoughts and feelings with the current state of their lives. Join us as we take a 6-week therapeutic journey composed of themes that will help you to explore "what should be" vs. "what is". Through the establishment of coping skills, vulnerability and self-empowerment, the goal of this closed group is to create forward movement to a place of contentment.

Group Objectives:

Identify and explore difficult thoughts and feelings around aspects of current state of life.

Recognize and gain insight into how rigid expectations that have contributed to feelings of being “stuck”.

Acquire and establish coping skills to help navigate difficult emotions that arise when seeking acceptance.

Develop new and more open ways of thinking aimed towards mindfulness and contentedness.
